Waterford Hospice Sunflower Days is one of the most popular national fundraising events in Ireland each year and is a major source of income for Waterford Hospice. It is an all island fundraising event, now in its 26th year!
Waterford Hospice Sunflower Days 2017 will take place later in this year. Some hospice groups will be concentrating on a single Sunflower Day on either the 10th or 11th of June. Please refer to your local hospice service for further details. You will find contact details for your local hospice service on the location page. Over the two days, thousands of volunteers will sell a range of items ranging from sunflower pins to nail files.
The aim is to raise €1 million to support local hospice services. Everything raised locally, stays locally. The use of the funds depends on the local needs - in some areas it will fund home care services and in others, it will be invested in the hospice.
You can help by volunteering with your local hospice service on Sunflower Days.
